We often lose track of people, drop out of touch or just suddenly remember somebody from our past. It isn't always easy to find these people again, addresses change, phone numbers, even names - but this is the 21st century and we have the Internet.

This site was initially set up to see if we could find a couple of old friends but it didn't take long before we started getting requests from other people as well. So now we have decided to re-design the site and make it serious.
There are some rules and things you need to be aware of before you place a 'Missing Persons' ad, please read the entire contents of this page before moving on. No, there are no 'sponsor' ads, requests for money or hidden traps. this is a free site and will remain so. We have nothing to sell you and nothing for you to subscribe to. There are also no cookies or tracking utilities at this site, if you want to come back you will, if you choose not to that's your choice, we won't chase you.

There are other sites out there, Search for People - MaidenName.net - People Site - People Search etc, they all look better, promise more and appear to have thousands of users, they even tell you it's free. Well, registering may be free, but that's about as far as it goes. But don't limit your search to free sites, stick your ad on as many sites as you can, the more your message is read the better your chances. Our site IS FREE, no registration, no hidden charges. This site costs us $10 a year to run, and hell, even that's tax deductible.

If you are an Investigator, Researcher, IT Person, Police Officer or anybody in a position to help find missing people, using whatever means you may have at your disposal, if you would like to help or even if you just want to know how to help then please click here now - the more people looking the better.

We can't guarantee results, we can't guarantee that replies from others will be valid, there are a lot of idiots out there who spend their days surfing the net looking for suckers, and people who have lost somebody are prime targets. Make sure you read replies and messages carefully and before answering, apply this simple rule.
"IF IN DOUBT, DON'T".
Remember also that some of these idiots actually run web sites and will suck you in just to charge you money for doing absolutely nothing. Apply the same rule as above. You wouldn't walk into a shop, hand over money and walk out empty handed (unless you were paying for something you already got), don't do it on the web either.
Remember also that some people will try to sell you programs that they claim will help you find lost loved ones, you can get the same results by checking phone books and government records, probably faster and certainly cheaper. The Internet is a resource used by many of these programs, you already have the Internet, a keyboard and a screen, all you need is the time.

Now don't get us wrong here, some of these programs can help you, they may use facilities you didn't even know existed, they may have access to databases you can't find. All we are saying is 'use your head', make sure that what you pay for will actually be useful. If you 'must' give your money away, give it to a reputable charity.
A very good starting point for searching is LDS Family Search, no we are not associated with the LDS, we just know that they have some world class resources and they are honest with you.

Yes there will be some charges with LDS, but you will get what you pay for.
